The holidays can be an exciting, fun and just down right wonderful time of year! For some of us though the holidays and winter combined can bring on the "holiday blues". Its tough for those of us dealing with anxiety because of the pressures of social obligations with holiday get togethers and depression can leave others feeling isolated among revelers. Remember that the holidays are meant for everyone to enjoy, including you! Do some gifting to you! Pamper yourself, spend time with loved ones and friends that you like, not just those you feel obligated to be with. Put a present under the tree for yourself... that way you know you will be getting something you really want and like this year! Include your pet/s in the celebration too and get them a little treat that you can enjoy with them... a ball for fetch with your pup or a new cat wand for kitty! Remember to just take time for you and your mental health too! Happy Holidays!
